Resolutions 2016

I can't remember when was the last time I did a layout, at least two years I guess. My focus was the origami piece with my 2016 resolutions and not very much on the design itself, even though I enjoyed adding textures and colors.

I have hard times following instructions with origami but I love it so when I saw this " Christmas wreath" I was determined to do it and hide in the pinwheel  form my thoughts.

I used a Paris napkin

On the reverse side are the resolutions

Paris, a journal page

I'm very touched about what's going on in Paris so I decided to make a journal page.

The background was made out of a stenciled Gelli print

NEW Website....so proud of them!!

I have been wanting to write this blog post for months. 

My daughters Daniela and Valentina started a Website (English and Spanish)  NO ENNUI  (no boredom) . This site will guide you through the travel industry, fashion, gastronomy,beauty,  cooking, crafts and much more.

They have made a deep research on these topics and due to their  activities and multiple travels, they are also able to mix the investigation with real experiences.

 Congratulations girls!!!

 

Update on my YouTube Channel

Hi all,

Today my YouTube channel was hacked so if you tried to watch one of my videos you'll find it suspended. It could take weeks to restore it so in the meantime I'm starting a new one. When it's all set I'll let you know the link to it.

Well, considering I live in Chile and I have to import EVERYTHING pay taxes and customs, all the supplies I use turn out to be very expensive for me (double price).

2.-Least expensive tool you use on a regular basis

I guess it is WATER!!!!

3.-Oldest item you made that you or someone you know still have. 

Almost 15 years ago I made "sort of a scrapbook album" with photos from a family vacation and I still have it, what a shame!!

4.-Crafting tool that was a waste of money

There are MANY tools I have bought I don't use or they were not worth it at all (for me of course), I think punches are the winners!!

5.-Crafting tool that was the best bargain

Not for me....

6.-Best storage idea you have implemented

I moved from my house to an apartment about 2 years ago and I designed a whole room to be my studio, so everything I store is there as I wanted to be.

9.-Item/items you stock up on every time or almost every time you go to the craft store

I have a few items that I stock due to the time it takes for me to get stuff from the United States (or elsewhere). All sort of foam dots, glue dots, adhesives in general, stamp pads and reinkers and cardstock.

10.- Favorite non craft store place to buy supplies/ items for crafting

By far Museums!!

I never thought of filming anything I do but since I belong to Lindy's Stamp Gang and Scraps of Darkness DT's, one of my duties are to make tutorials.

Just started a journal to force myself to write something about my life, not an easy task though.

 

 

 

Wow!

After all these months away, so many things....... I sold my house (I don't have a new place yet....sigh...), in 2 weeks my DD Valentina finishes University, my son Felipe finishes school and I'm getting older.....LOL!

Well, this is all about isn't it?? I haven't scrapped so my last "Restarting" was a real fail, I hope to do it next year after all this craziness.
