December Color Challenge

Hello crafty friends,

Today is the December color challenge reveal at  Lindy's Stamp Gang. The palette invites to create, don't you think so??

This is my take on the challenge

Masking Tape Journal Cover Video Tutorial

Today I have made a collaged journal cover in a very  free or messy  style, no rules, not thinking too much, just letting it flow. The only thing I kept in mind was not using more than three colors and one or two neutrals. In this case I used Golden Sleigh Bells, Ocean Breeze Blue, Bells of Ireland Green and the neutral Café au Lait.

I want to thank my dear friend Lisa Novogrodski for giving me the idea of the masking tape.

 I started by applying masking tape to a piece of freezer paper and painting it. 

 

 Using multiple papers and fabric pieces I begun my collage

 I assembled the small pieces then sew everything together onto a cotton fabric

Just another journal play. I started with a Gelli print and then begun collaging it with other Gelli printed papers and some digital ones by Traci Bautista, Nancy Baumiller and Teesha Moore A few doodles, a bit of paint and it's done!

Faux watercolor card (Start to finish video)

Hi friends! I created this faux watercolor card for "Scraps of Darkness" featuring May kit "Twisted & Tangled".

I've been wanting to try this technique for a long time and now I want to share it with you.

I also used many Lindy's Stamp Gang's sprays and embossing powders.

Sprays:

Azure Sea Asters

Baby Blue Eyes Aqua

Tawny Turquoise (Moon Shadow)

Bonjour Butter (Flat Fabio)

Embossing Powders:

Morning Glory Azure

Scotch Broom Yellow Red

Cosmic Blue Violet

 

Mini canvases a CHA project 2014

I almost forgot to share this project I did for Lindy's Stamp Gang (CHA 2014).

These five mini canvases were displayed in a 12 X 12 embossed cardboard with a few embellishments surrounding them.

I used the beautiful Sweet Treats EPIC set in all it's varieties.

June Color Challenge at Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hi all!

Just returning from a fabulous NYC travel and sharing my take on Lindy's Stamp Gang's June Color Challenge.

 I previously used this page to clean stamps and as it already had "something" in it, I decided to start from here to create a new project.

 To color the page I sprayed it with Azure Sea Asters, Caribbean Blue, Café au Lait, Burnished Brass, Mango Mania, Curiouser Chartreuse, Pineapple Paradise and Ocean Breeze Blue

I transfered a magazine image with soft gel leaving some spots without the medium so some parts would not show

 More spraying and some gelatos to enhace the colors

I stamped two quotes

 

Mother's Day

I wanted to honor the mothers from all over the world with a colorful jounal page I did using the FABULOUS  Tres Chic MEGA set.

May you all have a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

I started by spraying my page with the beautiful colors of the kit

Then using a stamp and my Versamark ink, I embossed the background  with May Color Challenge Embossing Set

I chose my images, doodled the border and voilá!

Photo Album *Scraps of Darkness*

For this month's *Scraps of Darkness*His and Hers" kit, I decided to make a photo album with a start to finish video. Loved the papers and FABULOUS embellishments that came in my mail!!
