Hi my friends,
This time I wanted to do something about my family and me.
As many of you know, I was born and raised in Chile. My father came here escaping from the World War II, he was Romanian and my mother's parents came from Poland. At that time seems South America was like the actual "American Dream" for people who was scared about their future in Europe.
In this spread, I wanted to represent both worlds (Europe and South America) pointing the Countries and making marks on the journey my ancestors had to go across.
In this VIDEO, I will show you the process of making these pages.
Of course I used Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to give them a vintage look.
Sea Grass Green, Ethereal Emerald, Down the Rabbit Hole, Opal Sea Oats, Medieval Gold, Yellow Rose of Texas.
I have been wanting to write this blog post for months.
My daughters Daniela and Valentina started a Website (English and Spanish) NO ENNUI (no boredom) . This site will guide you through the travel industry, fashion, gastronomy, beauty, cooking, crafts and much more.
They have made a deep research on these topics and due to their activities and multiple travels, they are also able to mix the investigation with real experiences.
Congratulations girls!!!
I like to try new things and this time I'm loving to sew into my pages. I used a glassine bag where I stored the "look at this" card, then I sewed all together and attached it to the paper. I also used and painted cheesecloth with the gorgeous Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and Color Shots to embellish the page. I covered the frame with washi tape and decorated it with words, then stamped a little and added metal accents.
I did another layout for the color challenge at Lindy's Stamp Gang.
Some of the rules:
Here is our challenge for February! This challenge is valid on blog posts dated February 1st, 2014- February 28th, 2014
After I added the texture, I used Clam Bake Beige and Mission Bells Brown
I also used Poinsettia Red Gold shot with a water brush
Hi scrappy friends!
Today I want to share one of the projects I did for Lindy's Stamp Gang with a start to finish video using Jingle Bells EPIC set.
I hope you all have a GREAT 2014 and thanks so much for the support you gave me in 2013!!
This month's colors are really pretty, even they are not my colors (you know I LOVE brights!), so I went a little crazy and totally out of the box with flowers, glitter and many embellies that are hard for me to use.
So here is my layout for this month. This photo was taken on Daniela's wedding day and I find it super sweet with her sister kissing her. You can't really tell but Valentina's dress matches the colors of some of the flowers.
I used Gloden Mica Flake to add some glitter and texture at the same time

Hi friends,
I'm guest designing at Scrap FX blog. Loved their chipboards, stencils and stamps!!
These are the projects I created for them:
For this canvas I used Graphic Circles, Urban Corner and the Urban Stencil.
Here I used Retro Rectangles Corner, Hibiscus Rose Spray, Hottie Patottie Hot Pink, Magnolia Magenta Gold, Ramblin' Rose Pink.
I stamped the background several times with different colors using the Beach Grass Stamp and added the My Sister & Me chipboard.
My daughter Daniela got married on April and believe it or not, this is the first canvas/layout I make of her as a bride. I saved a few pieces of her wedding dress and applied them into the canvas.
She looked so beautiful!!!!
So here is the finished canvas. Some of the photos are very dark and not represent the colors IRL.
Here are some photos of my process
