Fabric transfer

Today I'm showing you an experiment I did with transfer on fabric. My plan is to use this as a journal cover after I paint it.

This is an old napkin

I covered it with gesso

Here I transfered the image with soft gel

 I wanted to blend the image with the background so I used a stencil with molding paste

This turned out gorgeous! It never actually looked like a transfer in any of your photos, but, rather, a painting and then especially so after you added texture. She is beautiful and will make a lovely journal cover! Thanks for sharing your art.
