Today I'm sharing this altered cigar box I did for a friend. I will show you step by step how I did it.
I covered all sides with blue tape and applied three coats of gesso before I started gluing the elements

I used Viva Inka Gold and Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to paint the box. You'll see the different stages of the painting

What a gorgeous box - I love all the metals and the 3 coats of gesso gave it such wonderful textures - like plaster with swirls. I love it and I bet your friend will do a happy dance when she received this beauty!
