I'm starting a new stage in my life, sharing my scrapbook work.
Through this hobby I found in me a source of inspiration that was hidden for many years, now I know that creating make me feel happy and productive, while I'm leaving for the future generations, a family heritage that I didn't have.
Hi, Lizzie!
It looks like a big congatulations are in order for your husband on his election to the council! That is such an honor! Then, of course I wouldn't expect less of a man who has such a lovely wife as does David. I mean that most sincerely, Lizzie.
I cannot believe you've been able to do so much scrapbooking during the election! That's just amazing! Do you SLEEP? LOL
Members of my family have been in politics, too. My father was a District Judge for the State of Texas for 20 years. He never had opposition. After his retirement, he served as Senior District Judge for several years. My grandfather was Sheriff of Tarrant county, then a United States Marshall for the Northern District of Texas. His brother (my great uncle) was county commissioner. So, I thoroughly understand about living your life in the limelight. Living my life in a fishbowl (meaning: having a public life...always having to be concerned with one's image) kept me doing what is right, especially in college! Not easy!
Lizzy, thanks for inviting me to come here to your blog. I can't wait to explore it.
Please feel free to email me at:
[email protected] ....any time. SMILE
Hugs to you from Texas!
