Bev Davitt

On the blue design you said it is alcohol wax, but in the tut it says alcohol ink on metal. I can't find anything on alcohol wax, or is this wrong.

Hi Gail, on that panel I used alcohol inks and no gesso, hope this helps!

Love your idea! On the blue and green one, did you use the wax color called "Patina?" Can you tell me anymore about the process for that one?
Too bad the folder is no longer available!
Thanks so much!

Wow Mary, thanks so much for your help, I hope Wendy could see this post again!!!

The embossing folder is called Cracked and can be bought in a pair (the other is called Checkerboard). Current and available in both USA and UK. In the UK it can be found on amazon.co.uk. I bought it today :) HTH.

Hi Wendy, I really don't know the name of the folder but it's by Sizzix, hope this helps!!

Found you through Pinterest! Beautiful work, especially the final one with wax. Wow. Thank you for sharing your methods via an excellent tutorial. I'm starting to think I need an embossing/die cutting machine. . .

I looked in 3 websites (including Sizzix) and it seems they have discontinued that folder, I'm so sorry....
